Why did Noru (2216) weaken so quickly as it approached Central Vietnam? And let me ask again, how can I view the prognostic reasoning reports of JTWC and JMA about Noru?

Regarding the question, it's a combination of increased vertical wind shear as it moves further west in SCS, as well as EWRC kicking in(secondary eyewall formation was found on radar), coupled with the factor that Noru was extremely small, it just rapidly weakened. Honestly Vietnam was really lucky.

Because vertical wind shear is too powerful...If Noru Landfall Vietnam in its peak，maybe damage was not lower than tsunami...
