Tropical Low 07U
A tropical low (07U) is forming in the Arafura Sea.
07U is expected to remain slow moving in the Arafura Sea at first, before moving south towards the eastern Top End or into the western Gulf of Carpentaria late in the week.
Conditions become more favourable for development later in the week. The likelihood of 07U developing into a tropical cyclone increases to Low from Wednesday, and to Moderate on Thursday and Friday.
