Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Flossie, located in the eastern Pacific basin a couple of
hundred miles south-southwest of Acapulco, Mexico.

1. South of Southwestern Mexico:
An area of low pressure could form several hundred miles offshore of
southwestern Mexico late this week. Some gradual development of this
system is possible thereafter while it moves generally
west-northwestward.

the southeastern U.S. Atlantic or Gulf coasts. Some gradual tropical
or subtropical development could occur thereafter as it drifts
slowly just off the U.S. coastline.
