就是BOM展望的09U。

Tropical Low 09U
Tropical Low expected to pass near Christmas Island.

  • A tropical low (09U) is forming near the Indonesian Archipelago.
  • It is likely to move to the southwest and pass south of Christmas Island mid-week bringing an increase in showers.
  • There is a Moderate likelihood of 09U developing into a tropical cyclone from Thursday, when it will be moving away from Christmas Island.
  • 09U is expected to remain well away from the Western Australian mainland.

  • It is likely to move westwards, passing south of Christmas Island on Wednesday with increased shower and thunderstorm activity.
  • There is a Moderate likelihood of 09U developing into a tropical cyclone on Thursday, as it moves away from Christmas Island.
  • The chance of 09U becoming a tropical cyclone decreases to Low from Saturday onwards as environmental conditions become unfavourable for development.
  • 09U is expected to remain well to the south of Cocos (Keeling) Islands as it continues to move westwards on the weekend.

Tropical Low (09U) is expected to pass south of Christmas Island on Wednesday.
  • A tropical low (09U) is slowly developing to the south of Christmas Island, and is moving westwards.
  • Increased shower and thunderstorm activity is expected at Christmas Island on Wednesday and Thursday as 09U passes.
  • There is a Moderate (25%) likelihood of 09U developing into a tropical cyclone on Thursday or Friday, as it moves further away from Christmas Island.
  • The chance of 09U becoming a tropical cyclone decreases to Low from Saturday onwards as environmental conditions become unfavourable for development.
  • 09U is expected to remain well to the south of Cocos (Keeling) Islands as it continues to move westwards early next week.
