Forecast description

Tropical Low 11U

A tropical low may form late in the week over open waters north of the Western Australia.

A weak tropical low, 11U, may form over open waters north of the Western Australia late in the week and move slowly westwards.

Next Saturday some of the recent model guidance indicates that 11U could drift southwards and has a slight chance of intensifying.

There is a Low likelihood of 11U developing into a tropical cyclone over open waters well north of the Pilbara coast for Saturday 6th April.
