Forecast description
Tropical Low 14U
Tropical Low 14U could form in the northeast Coral Sea mid to late week.
- 14U is likely to form over the far northeast Coral Sea mid to late week.
- There is a Low chance that 14U may develop into a tropical cyclone on Sunday or Monday next week.
- The movement of 14U is expected to be generally slow moving during the weekend and then towards the south or southeast, away from the Queensland coast.

Tropical Low 15U
A tropical low is forecast to form off the Top End late in the week.
- A tropical low (15U) may develop in the Arafura or Timor Sea, north of Top End late in the week.
- Once formed, 15U is expected to develop slowly and most likely remain as a weak system until Sunday, when conditions may begin to improve for it to develop.
- The risk of 15U becoming a tropical cyclone is assessed as Low (10%) on Monday next week.
